7:12 Capital

The long‑term home for the business you built.

We invest, build and partner with founder-led and family-owned companies.

About us

Built to be a reliable partner for decades, not a few years.

7:12 Capital is a firm dedicated to buying a handful of great businesses and owning them for the long term. We don't buy companies to flip them. We buy them to keep them, grow them and take care of the people who made them successful.

Invest

We give owners a fair price and a clear path to retirement or their next chapter, with a deal shaped around their family's goals.

Build

We bring hiring, systems and modern tools to help a good business grow, without losing the service that earned its customers.

Partner

We stay. We work alongside your team every week and hold the business with the next decade in mind.

Backed by people who think long term. A group of strategic advisors, experienced operators and committed investors stands behind every business we own.

How we partner

What changes when you partner with us, and what doesn't.

Many buyers plan their exit before they close. We plan to own for the long haul, so every decision is made for the people and customers who will still be there in ten years.

Your team

Your people keep their jobs.

Your employees are the reason the business works. We keep the team in place and give the best people room to grow into bigger roles.

Your name

The brand you built stays on the trucks.

Customers know your name. We keep it, along with the service standards that earned their trust.

Your terms

A deal built around your goals.

A full exit, a gradual handoff, a seller note or keeping a stake. We structure the deal around what you want for your family and your retirement.

Your legacy

A partner who stays for the long haul.

There's no five-year exit clock. We hold what we buy, stay closely involved and are always a phone call away.

If you have a loyal team and happy customers, we want to keep it that way for a long time.

What we look for

Great businesses, whatever the industry.

We mainly look for founder-led and family-owned service companies with loyal customers and skilled teams. We're industry agnostic and criteria driven, so if your business fits the profile below, we want to talk.

What makes a great fit

  • Loyal customersContracts, maintenance plans or repeat work from customers who stay for years.
  • Essential workA service people need in good times and bad.
  • A skilled teamExperienced employees who handle much of the day-to-day.
  • An owner who caresA founder or family thinking about the next chapter who wants the business in good hands.

If that sounds like your company, we'd like to hear from you, whatever your industry.

How it works

A simple, private process from first call to closing.

  1. Intro call

A no-pressure conversation about you, the business and what you want next. Nothing is shared with anyone.

  2. Share the basics

Under an NDA, you send recent financials. We tell you quickly whether we're a fit.

  3. Visit and meet

We come to see the operation and learn how you run it day to day.

  4. Letter of intent

A clear written offer with price, structure and your transition role spelled out.

  5. Diligence and financing

We confirm the numbers and finalize financing, with as little disruption to you and your team as possible.

  6. Closing and handoff

We close, then work side by side with you for an agreed transition so customers and staff feel the continuity.

Our founder

Meet Sam Belaye

Sam Belaye founded 7:12 Capital to be a hands-on, long-term owner of a few great businesses. He is based in Florida, he's a husband and a new dad, and he puts his own capital and his name behind every company 7:12 Capital buys.

Before 7:12 Capital, Sam was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, where he advised CEOs on growth strategy and worked on private equity due diligence. He then led sales and marketing operations teams at LinkedIn, helping scale platforms to more than $60 million in revenue in two years. He started his career in finance at Goldman Sachs.

Sam is an early investor and advisor in SIRA, a Y Combinator-backed, AI-native HR platform built for service businesses. SIRA is one of the tools we bring into every company we acquire, helping our businesses reduce the overhead of coordination, improve operations, and grow. Sam also owns and manages residential real estate.
